For the guy mentioned above by GG, “MMAC” stands for Multi-Mission Armor Carrier. It the exact same thing as their regular plate carrier; just different. LOL!
This is the plate carrier we were given as part of our trial issue if multicam in 09. The Army then decided that it wouldn’t want its Soldiers to be comfortable or sufficiently protected and blessed us with the KDH.
Aww thanks guys and yea it looks just like the Assault PC on SKDTac. And no these weren’t the PC that were given to us in Afghanistan those were the Eagle PC with Cummerbund different cut on the front and different shoulder straps.
I don’t recall the cut of front, the one thing I do remember is those shoulder straps with the loops present. It is highly possible multiple versions of the vest were issued. Its a shame we didn’t end up with at least one of eagle’s designs.
Yea wasn’t thrilled at all with their selection at all of the KDH ones. The guys in 101 that replaced us thought they were great til they tried ours on lol
Same style/trim as the ASSAULT PC/LBT-6094. Except this has an integrated ADMIN pouch and what looks like side plate holders rather than a standard molle cumberbun. Also added bungee cord to hold mags in place while in the kangaroo pouch. Maybe its 300/500 cordura as well?
MMAC’s are available immediately through Eagle’s stocking program. Please contact customer service at (888) 343-7547 to order one. If you email me at joshua.canas@eagleindustries.com I can also directly send you a spec and data sheet for the MMAC.

Because, if you want comfort, go to USAF
Thanks for clearing that up. None of that was around in 66-70 when I was in AF.

This isn’t a new product. They’ve been around for several years,
I’m wearing one here in Afghanistan, not too bad.
