War is a dangerous business and regardless of what country you come from, it always hurts to lose fellow service members. It’s even worse when the fallen are victims of accident. When Canada suffered its first casualties of the war on terror 10 years ago today, a 500 lbs bomb was accidentally dropped on Canadian forces killing four Soldiers and wounding eight others.
So, a moment of silence for Canada’s fallen and for that matter all of ours. Canada has been a close ally. Honor them with us.

Your thoughts are appreciated.
May they rest in peace.
Thank you.
Thank you sir.
Thank you sir.
Thank you. May all our fallen allies rest in peace.
Thank you…
Thank-you Sir. Lest we forget, ALL of our comrades.
Thank you
Please rest in peace knowing that you carry our honest, heartfelt respect and sympathy. The respect is not merely for the fallen. Canadian troops are first rate forces in my experience, and I am glad they choose to play with us as frequently as they do.
If our Air Force might occasionally punish their idiot personnel (I’m looking at you, Major Schmidt) for both lying to cover their asses and for, you know, fratricide, this sort of thing might become a thing of the past.
My wife dated one of these guys before we met. The.PPCLI has definitely lost it’s share of soldiers in Afghanistan.
RIP all those who have sacrificed for us
RIP brothers.. and all those who fight along side us
RIP Men.
I was able to watch some Canadian Infantry boys do work several years back at JRTC, they were fighters, and impressive to say the least!
