It is the old Blackwater North?

  2. Carl says:

It is. By all accounts a great training venue, but the location and lack of DoD entities nearby makes it a harder sell. I hope they enjoy better success under the new management.

Pete is a great guy, the facility has extensive offerings, and while it is kind of out of the way, do a little preplanning and that won’t matter so much.

I was there for a shoot last year, great facility. You can hear banjos on the road going out there, but it’s worth the trip.

  5. Pete is not only a great guy, but an excellent shooter and trainer. Any training with Pete will be well worth it.

…Until next time, continue to hone your skills and keep adding to your tactical toolbox.

I have trained and conducted classes at this location since 1991, and have witnesses this property change hands a variety of times. I am glad Pete got the property and is able to keep the training site up and going. Pete and myself have attended several classes together and participated in a couple of firearms competitions, which Pete was always one of the top competitors. He is a great guy and I hope he does well.
