MilitaryNotes Channel put together a pretty good video montage of the separate SOF capabilities vignettes demonstrated at this year’s Special Operations Forces Industry Conference and associated International Special Operations Forces Conference in Tampa, Florida. The demo was performed by SOF personnel from Australia, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Jordan, Norway, Poland, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

That was well done and great to see! The post action interviews were cool.
I wish their had been some PJ’s in the video, i would love to see a demonstration of their combat search and rescue skills.
What you consider a classic down the hoist PJ mission isn’t a core mission of SOCOM. The command provides self-SAR of its forces and the PJs assigned to Special Tactics Squadrons also handle some specialized medical support such as running JCCPs but what most people consider a ‘PJ’ mission is really a CAF mission.
