They look pretty good but I would do away with the Carbon Fiber looking knuckles. I’ve found they do more to hurt the users hand than actually protect it from serious impacts.
2 years to come up with a glove Oakley had since 05. I agree on the carbon knuckles too. Try getting your hands in your pocket with them on too.
Nothing supremely innovative. Its apparent who listens to the SOF crowd, who is, and who actually uses gear in real world environments.
It would be nice to have a couple versions of the Viking Tactics Combat Gloves (with more or less padding zones) in Kryptek patterns.
the velcro wrist closure needs to be just a simple rectangular strap/tab, to allow for adjustability, and accommodate different wrist sizes. with the triangular-shaped tab, if you need it tighter or looser, you’ll lose some velcro engagement if it’s not lined up exactly, and the edges will lift up. i encountered this on some other gloves with odd-shaped wrist closures.
