Mad Duo Lambasts Red Dawn (The Remake)

The Mad Duo got the scoop on the trailer for the much delayed “red Dawn” remake. Generally, trailers include the best parts of as movie and if this is as good as it gets, well, we’re in for a suck fest.

I’ll file this under morale as in “my morale is going to suck after seeing this Go check out the Mad Duo’s full review at www.breachbangclear.com/site/10-blog/133-red-dawn-redux-looks-worse-than-we-thought.html.

Yeah…no thanks. That movie is gonna blow goats. It’s gonna have a meteoric race to the dollar bin.

North Korea couldn’t even invade South Korea, much less field enough starving conscriptees to invade the US. I mean, I’m all about suspension of disbelief and all, but there are limits.

Not only can holywood NOT come up with an original idea, they have the uncanny ability to take an existing good idea and f*ck it up. Knowing them, the flick is probably laced with ant-patriotic, anti-capitalist, anti-military sentiment and explains that the reason NK is invading is somehow our fault to begin with. PASS.

I saw the trailer the other day in the theater and uh…. Yeah, no.

  4. Stuart says:

I am a little dumber for watching that, thank you

Anybody know that this was apparently shelved for years and then had digital rework done to it (like redoing banners and insignia)because the enemy weren’t originally North Koreans? Guess the studio and related Corporations didn’t want to piss off the real bad guys? The Chinese? anybody? sigh

Let’s just assume the NK had a “little” bit of help getting across the Pacific… Besides, explaining how something like that happened is a task best left to historians after the Evil Communists are pushed off American soil. plot might suck but explosions always draw crowds. And if that still doesn’t satisfy you, pretend its China if you go watch it.
