There are lots of ‘survival’ bracelets on the market made from woven parachute cord. While the 550 cord and it’s internal strands can sure come in handy in a survival emergency once unravelled and gutted, they don’t offer anything but cordage. However, the new Flint and Steel Survival Bracelet from Kryptek incorporates fire making tools into the clasp. So, you don’t just get a bracelet with a unique look but also both fire making and cordage to deal with extreme situations.

Wow, another survival bracelet just like all the other survival bracelets out there. This looks exactly like the Bison Designs one http://www.bisondesigns.com/node/479 and a poor attempt at matching the RE Factor Tactical one. I thought Kryptek was better than this….
They didn’t design or make it. Cheaper, non branded, original version here:

I like the enduraloop by 8legswebbelts. It’s not a bracelet, but has a ton woven in…

Is there any more information/images for the Sharp Eye stainless steel one inch knife? Sounds interesting.
As much as I hate to be a negative Nancy and be one of those here who constantly harp about lack of innovation and accuse a company of copying someone elses design I have to say the Kryptek’s bracelet really is nothing new. Comparing it to the Bison about the only difference that I can see is that the Kryptek has a nifty piece on with the Kryptek logo on it. Did Kryptek buy out or license Bison’s design to sell themselves?
