I am digging this old LBE-style rig from 762 Tactical. What do you think?

Any idea how well it works with AUG mags?
I really like this it reminds me of British Belt Kit.
Now put your armor on underneath that and try a transition drill. A little bulky on the pouches or maybe it’s just the bulky model. He said it, not me.
Awesome! Love me some old-school LBV. Not everything has to be a plate carrier with three magazines on the chest.
This is very reminiciante of a British belt kit we just do them better 🙂 also underarmor or low profile yokes are the way ahead http://www.dragonsupplies.co.uk
Its just an updated Rhodesia or SA rig
As before I like it but who carries a Bivy Sack on their Belt kit?
That rig would have come in handy in the jungle, especially since we were not wearing armor. I think I’ll stick with a modular approach though.
I dig it to be quite honest. I have always liked these style of rigs and used LBT 1195’s, Blackhawk LRAC’s and the Eagle MOLLE H-Harness as a MK43 gunner. They tend to be a little bulky as was said by another poster over armor with a fixed pouch model like the Blackhawk LRAC but that really only comes into play when your getting in and out of vehicles. For general patroling or in my case getting on and off of boats it was ideal and carried everything I needed and then some. I liked my LBT and EAGLE because they were modular and allowed me to have flexability as a gunner.
I can say it doesn’t seem like he has brought anything “revolutionary” to the table in the design but I think to be quite honest the design has remained more or less the same since the Israeli EPHOD. This H-Harness does bring together modern colorway’s with a well thought out and classic design adding more tools to the tool box of the guy on the ground. I would definetly grab one of these to give it a whirl and add it to the H-Harness collection I aquired over the years.
This rig works well with AUG mags, as well as AK and M4.
The point of this rig is to bring back the durability and functionality of a “fixed” rig that carries everything you need. And yes it’s intended to be similar to the Blackhawk/LBT rigs that are no longer produced, but with better magazine pouches that will actually work with AK and M4 mags (the SCAR-H will work with any 7.62Nato sized magazine as well as M4). There are features on this rig that improve the design concept, like being able to add a hydration pouch and PALS/MOLLE on the shoulder straps (something the originals didn’t have).
Bobbydavro, you obviously haven’t seen my gear in person!
Side note, the bivvy was something I just threw in to fill out the loadout for the video.
