That looks great!
I guess that’s an integrated soft armor and carrier in the same product.
It looks very slim and maybe a good choice for concealed carry under a bulky shirt.
What kicked off this trend of people using rubber/Hypalon coated and laser/cnc knife cut fabrics for armor carriers?
Is this everyone getting onto the BFG and CP bandwagon, or was there another piece of gear that set all these companies off in this direction?
It’s a good direction, I just find the perfusion of the idea through the gear design industry interesting.
AW was at the forefront of this trend along with everyone else. They debuted at SHOT just like the others. Go back and review the SHOT show 2012 coverage.
This current thrust led me to declare this the Year of Materials.
Where are the specs? It’s not even on their website.
It’s not there
Wow! Looks good
Looks awesome. Someone mentioned the BFG/CP bandwagon. I’m pretty sure Asgaard Tactical debuted a plate carrier just a few days/weeks prior to SHOT and he is a small time gear maker in comparison.
Anyway, Year of Materials it is!
Do you mean to say that Asgaard did it before anyone else?
who is making the combatshirt? looks cool!
-Word-
Crye was at the forefront of laser cut hypalon with their groundbreaking JPC several years ago.
They have any prevision to hit the market with this little beauty?
I second the question on the combat shirt.. any ID on manufacturer? That looks like a zoned midweight fleece. Nice!
It’s been covered
