With millions of ACH cut helmets produced, it’s only natural that FirstSpear would introduce a dedicated variant of their popular Hybrid Cover. It’s made from mesh and softshell two-way stretch with loop patches for IFF. It not only protects your helmet but also dampens helmet noise and shine. Available in Small – XLarge (same as the ACH) in Black, Coyote, Ranger Green, White and MultiCam.

So… What’s the point with the mesh?
If we are talking about weight, then both 330D and Litelock is lighter than mil-spec mesh (cannot remember the proper name).
I’m guessing the idea is that the mesh reflects less light, resulting in much less of a “sheen” from far away. An entirely cloth helmet cover would still do a great job of eliminating the sheen, although perhaps not as good as mesh would.
About time!
Sexy. Not sure that it’s 80 bones of sexy, but sexy.
Is the sewn grid on the front there to reduce stretch/tearing/etc if you cut the cover for a NOD mount?
yes
