One Shot Tactical explains the Merchant of War patch.
When we got put on a protest list with Lockhead Martin, General Dynamics, Thales and other defense contractors, we were a little shocked, and exited.
They called the list “Merchants of War” and “War Profiteers”.
As word has spread, the catch phrase “Official Merchant of War” stuck.
What makes this even better is that they are a Canadian company. The folks at One Shot Tactical are our kind of people.

Love One Shot. Darren and Simon have taken many dollars from me over the years.
OSTS is a real Canadian gem when it comes to the tactical market. Really glad to have guys like them around working hard to provide great products here in the Great White North.
Darren worked OSTS from the ground and made his name ensuring timely delivery of needed gear to troops deploying into Afghanistan. Some of those troops were his closest friends. He takes very seriously the quality of equipment and gear he provides knowing that his friends and Canadian troops are headed downrange.
OSTS has grown into a serious supplier of government equipment and continues to grow. But, it has never forgotten the warfighter….
Darren and the guys over at OSTS are first-rate folk. Though I’m disheartened by outside ignorance, I’m all for the ‘glass half full’ response. I will continue to source from OS, and will keep the pride up that fellow Canadians just keep on keeping on. A big thanks to SS for the support.
Jealous of their “Merchant of War” status…
Every trip to Eastern Ontario is combined with a stop at OST.. I’ve had my credit card burst into flames several times because of it.
Great gear , great people, what more could you ask for?
At a protest a few years ago in Virginia Beech for NAVEXFOR I got called a Merchant of Death. I was so proud!
Well he is a merchant. I bought kit from him and went to war. He didn’t sell me a war though, some DBs gave it to us and we gave it back to them. Darren are you selling miniguns and Griffins now?
I was at the True Patriot Love dinner in Toronto last night, we raised over $2.3 million!
