Raven Concealment Systems has just released details on their new ModuLoader Frames. Part of the ModuLoader series, the new Frames are designed to bridge the gap between daily concealed carry gear and more “tactical” load carriage products like the extremely versatile Taco pouches from High Speed Gear, Inc.
Think of them as an adapter that will help you adapt your Tacos and other accessories for use with a standard belt. ModuLoader Frames are available in four sizes and manufactured from the same material that RCS uses for their injection molded belt loops and pancake wings meaning they will provide flexibility for increased comfort.
They will also allow four different ride heights and accommodate five different belt loops for a customized fit and will still link and integrate with many existing Raven Concealment products.
They will begin taking orders on Black Friday (23 November), with RCS promising that orders will ship in time to be under the tree Christmas morning.
Like all RCS products, the ModuLoader Frames are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, and are covered by their unconditional lifetime warranty.
I can already put anything mounted with MALICE clips on just about any belt.
As usual..
This community is built off of need for solutions. Solutions, not products. This community ought not to become a market, though it is. We do not need companies to convince us that we need something. We need companies to produce the few essentials we require to get our jobs done and head humbly home.
I’ve ran my TACOs on my belt with MALICE clips and they’ve snapped loose everytime. I also utilized the g code paddle, which isn’t comfortable for me. This product release is a good thing for me. You may not need this, but I do. There’s something for everyone but everything is not for everyone.
The TACOs are pretty tough on MALICE clips, but other pouches might work fine.
This system is neat, but needs a quick on-off capability (so you don’t have to thread/dethread stuff – especially something like that ARES belt in the photo, jeez) to truly change the game. Otherwise, I see no reason to stray from my HSGI Sure-Grip setup.
This doesn’t add anything for CCW/low-vis LEO/PSD/etc work (Unless you’re wearing a parka…) and looks slower and more irritating than a warbelt, so like that Costa/HSGI rig, I don’t see it being practical off the square range. I still like Raven and HSGI for their other products.
This isn’t a solution looking for a problem at all. To the contrary. We need competition in the market place with viable alternatives. This is another way to skin a cat. Some people will prefer one solution over another. Competition drives innovation and controls cost.
Well said SSD. Bashing innovation, whether some need the gear or not, is only detrimental to this industry. Having innovators like RCS keeps the rest of the industry from getting lazy. Much like SSD said above, there’s nothing wrong with “adding tools to the toolbox”. Keep up the good work Raven.
I’m conflicted here… Maybe it is a better mousetrap.
Like Will I’ve run MOLLE on my normal CCW belt for a course. That was workable, not ideal, but got rounds on target. It’s clumsy in the prone, like a similar set-up on a MOLLE warbelt.
The element I like is a little offset and 2-3″ drop – that sounds like a weakside solution to me. If the attachments make it easy to don and stay on, these may be a win.
All that said, my experience with Raven is six months (no shit) would a fast order.
