Lest we forget to tell you, a team from the 5th SFG(A) won last week’s US Army Special Operations Command Sniper Competition at Ft Bragg, NC. They beat out a field of international teams to claim the title.

Get Some! Congrats to those fine Gents. Also looks like another win for the OBR!
I was wondering what make of platform they were using. I know the OBR did well in a previous sniper competition down there.

Great Picture! Marc & Curtis of Spartan Blades Good Job of making it Happen Again!!
Congratulations guys!
Congrats to the guys from 5th group for coming in first this year. Also congrats to the team from 3rd group that came in second. I’m slightly biased but the SF snipers continue to prove themselves the best snipers in the SOF community. Last years competition turned out 4 SF sniper teams in the top 5 with the winners coming from the USASOC. Well done fellas!
Excellent work, but I gotta know: who is supplying the range prop cars? That doesn’t look like the typical impound pooch that has to be put into place with a front end loader. Muzzle blast plays hell on clear coat.
Anyone know what scope is being used?
Lurch, looks like the Leupold Mark4 6.5-20x50mm w/M5 push button locking turret. I can’t be 100% on that but it’s definitely a Leupold.

It’s a LARUE OBR 7.62 in the picture. I guess that this counts as a victory for LARUE Tactical as well. Congrats to 5th group. Congrats to the guys at LARUE who keep putting out great design. The OBR is a super accurate rifle. It makes the Knight’s SASS look… like it’s not made in Texas 🙂
