Created at the end of the 90s as an alternative to the patented PALS attachment system, Tactical Tailor’s MALICE Clip became a readily available cottage industry standard. Companies large and small have been using MALICE Clips on their pouches which can be used with both MOLLE as well as old ALICE standard platforms. Unfortunately, results vary when you want to place that MALICE Clip equipped pouch to you belt.
Tactical Tailor developed the MALICE Clip Belt Adapter to correct this issue as so many are now mounting load bearing pouches to gun or first-line belts.
It’s a simple design that incorporates no-skid material in order to keep the pouch in place. If you are using MALICE Clip mounted pouches on your belt definitely take a look at this. It won’t break the bank.
The Tactical Tailor MALICE Clip Belt Adapter is available from a variety of retailers including SKD Tactical.

Great product and to give credit where it’s do, it was actually developed by Down Range Gear.
Mike is totally correct. TT was just able to bring it to market with meaningfull production numbers.
Ooooh, that’s where I’ve seen this before ….
“Created at the end of the 90s as an alternative to the patented PALS attachment system”
Weren’t they originally just a lightweight replacement for the metal clips in the ALICE (LBE) system?
No, they weren’t. They were designed specifically by Logan to counter PALS.
MALICE Clips were an AMAZING innovation that beautifully bridged the transition from ALICE clips to the MOLLE system that remains relevant a decade later. Love them or hate them there’s no denying the ingenious design, particularly for it’s time but even with the lighter, lower profile systems coming on the market, they remain viable for many applications.
Although I’m sure it’s been explored, I’d like to see TT make them more pliable and thinner, with less material if it would be possible to do so without sacrificing their legendary durability.
