When High Ground Gear and Phokus Research Group teamed up to unveil the Ring Sling at SHOT Show, several readers criticized the design without even seeing how it works. Between these two videos I’d say that you’ll get a good idea of what’s going on.

This sling is really cool. Not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but if it is then this is a phenomenal option.
This looks like an interesting combination of the advantages inherent within 1, 2 and 3 point slings. I may have to take a closer look at this.
We went by there booth at the show, the product that really blew me away was the belt that integrated into the pack and had a quick release. I think people would be very interested in seeing that.
Eric, there are many videos showing that feature and the bags with that feature on their youtube page. You can also get many of those packs from their website or at retailers like GSS in Virginia Beach.
Glad to see most of the haters turned an ear when this video came out, or were impressed by the demo’s at SHOT.
Can’t wait to use this sling in the field.
hey look at that demonstrator with his AOR1 patagonia L9 temperate blouse, crye pants, and AOR1 plate carrier…
I really want to like it, will no doubt get one, and then struggle with getting my hand all up around the muzzle. On a normal front sight I’m assuming you could just clip into it.
