British Tactical

British Tactical aka Brittac is a small UK-based gear manufacturer. They manufacture all of their kit in-house using UK and US milspec materials including Crye MultiCam, Murdock Jacquard Multicam webbing and Velcro brand MC loop.

Hippo Belt

They recently produced a simple, cost effective range of Hippo-style Padded MOLLE Webbing Belts but I like their take on several British webbing staples. The belt has a choice of 2, 3, 4 rows of PALS webbing as well as 5 size options. Additionally, you get your choice of ITW Nexus Ghilltex 50mm Quick Release buckle or a Roll Pin Buckle. and all belts are compatible with the current British issue yoke. Due to the number of options available on these belts they are produced to order and turn around time is currently about 1 week.

Having seen this company grow from its early days I have to say they are really impressing me… The battle belt is highly durable, and the company are maturing to put the Britac stamp on many classic but essential products… using techniques and materials that operators used to have to go to the US market for. Britac now offers a UK homegrown high end tactical product manufacture at great prices. They have custom made several items for me and they are a still functioning well. Check out their site!!

I’m always dubious of new manufacturers who offer lots of options when selling their kit, it’s as if they’re trying too hard, nevertheless I purchased a small pouch to test the water…..how wrong was I?

They have an interesting way to secure the pouch to the PALS but it works very well, their stuff is very well made and none of the pouches I’ve got from them have had any loose threads and I’ve not been able to find fault with them.

Bottom line: well made affordable kit that will last.

No, I’m not from British Tactical, just a satisfied customer.

I can really appreciate how they make their sizing abundantly clear. That’s an idea I’d like to see a few of our manufacturers “borrow”.

A bunch of guys from my platoon and I used some of their pouches in Afghan.
Quality kit at a good price, a good alternitive to importing from the US.
Ive known the BT guys since the begining and the thing that always impressed me was how they ask for end user feed back, always looking to improve their kit.
Im not affiliated with Brittac, just another satisfied customer.

Long time user of the British Tactical gear. I’ve thrashed my kit and it’s still going strong. Real hard use gear with superb finishing and durability. A real Rolls Royce of tactical nylon gear.

Great to see the guys popping up on here, keep up the good work!
