During 2013 we will be handing out 500 of these bad boys at various trade shows and events, but we know we won’t run into all of our readers that way so we are going to kick it off with a giveaway. Enter for your chance to win one of 50 patches.
To enter:
1. In the comments section of THIS article on SSD tell us what you’d like to see SSD do in the future. Only entries here are eligible to win.
2. Comments are open from now until 1600Z 31 May 2013.
3. Use any alias you want to post but be sure to use a valid email address since that’s how we’ll contact the winners.
4. 50 winners will be selected randomly from the comments we receive.
5. One entry per email address. We will delete entries that violate this policy.

Just keep do’in the awesome reviews, I check the site four to six times daily.
I’d personally really like if SSD could open a community, or forum, where avid followers can discuss topics not restricted to the news being posted.
This would attract even more regular readers and probably improve the participation to the website, as well as making the SSD community closer as a whole.
Keep doin what you’re doin! It’s nice to have a single place to get all the product info and news needed to stay current in the Doorkicker community.
I would like to see more waterborne or maritime equipment out there. I don’t t think I can ding on SSD it’s not their fault. The gear doesn’t evolve. More DIY would be good too, there’s knuckle staggers right modding their gear out there.
Would like to see more great stuff from y’all.

Great site! Maybe do some regular features regarding historical uniforms/kit. Could be interesting to look back at loadouts from different conflicts or periods in history, even from different nations.
Everything’s great! I Wouldn’t change anything about the site, except adding more Forces Focus videos…highlight spec-ops around the world. And maybe feature guest articles from other prominent military bloggers like sofrep, the loadout room, moderno, etc.
All in all, good stuff.
DYI/ Troubleshooting articles would make a nice read.

I think it fine how it is and wouldnt change a thing. Maybe just more cool patch giveaways. I lime the current content very much and find it extremely informative. It is a page thats not only bookmarked, but one that is rarely closed. Most of the time just refresed on my phone to load the latest and greatest.

Something I’d like to see SSD do is reach 20,000 posts! Based on the amount of posts this year and the growth of the followers, I think we’ll be seeing this fairly soon!
I’d love to see more vehicle related articles if possible, also a forum would be a nice way for the community to interact. Some sort of smart phone app might be cool too.
I love seeing review articles on the latest and greatest kit. Keep the nylon news coming! Also, as Brendan Smith suggested, some historical posts regarding soldier systems of the past would be great web food too.

I like what yall do find good gear for someone without loads of cash.
Maybe you could get a couple of in the “field reporters” so to speak. Guys or gals who are deploying or out on exercises to give from the field reports on various types of kit they use or are issued. Pros and cons. Long term reports at various benchmarks. Similar to how some car mags give updates to models they reviewed after a certain amount of miles or passage of time.
Reviews of actual issued kit, history of kit. SSD is an amazing resource, so I just hope to see you continue on for another five and another five after that and so on.
An Android app would be awesome.

I’d like to see more shelter/load carriage items as they hit the market. It’s always so hard to read through the clutter and would be nice to see Admin make some comments and let the comments fly to help gather some info on these items.
More interviews would be awesome.
What would really blow me away would be a monthly spotlight/ interview on members of the industry who served and the stories of their service. I love that kind of stuff and it really helps connect to the company more personally.
