I’m going to be really disappointed it Kryptek doesn’t win the camo competition. It is such a great-looking pattern. Those caps look great in it!
The real question is why are they making hats in it, if it didn’t win hmmm?!?!
I really hope you don’t know something I don’t.
These are commercial products not standard issue. Law enforcement, hunters, private companies and even hollywood make and use this all the time. The US government uses its own contract manufacturer’s
Yes they are commercial, however, they also fill a niche that the issue items do not often fill. As an example, my Recce boonie hat in Multicam, I have sent just short of 1000 to Afghanistan. I am a veteran owned business.
I’d like to see those if you have a link.
Hi Matt;
Go to my facebook page facebook/Slangvel and you will see a short brim Multicam “Recce”. It is an adjustable hat with a shock cord adjuster, soft side venting, hi viz signal panel inside that is also a pocket and the foliage loops.
Do these come in styles other than eastern euro/empire/socialist?
Your comedy skills as just as lacking as your reading skills. Did a little voice in your head compel you to post that or did it and your brain have a conversation about it before you went ahead and did it anyway?
The “patrol caps, examples shown above,” still look unusual.Not like any patrol cap I’ve worn.Perhaps it’s the way I am viewing the photos or the angles but I am not seeing USGI issue type patrol caps,and I am certainly willing to admit the fault is mine.
M43 are the model 1943 German patrol cap, which they changed to after they realized their garrison style cap lacked a need visor for ops in places like Russia and North Africa. Its a great cap and I prefer the fit to the sloppy modern US Army patrol Cap.
