TacLace

TacLace is a device designed by two US Marines during a deployment to Afghanistan. It functions as a method for cinching boot laces in a quick and secure manner. The TacLace is available in Black, Coyote Tan, and Foliage Green. The video above demonstrates the installation and function of the TacLace.

Hmmmm, any good with the hook fastenings?

    • Andrew says:

Jim, the TacLace works with hook fastenings. Start from the last whole eyelet, pull, cinch, then wrap both laces around the top hook and wrap in the opposite direction. You can also weave each layer of hooks if you desire. We will post a video soon on how this works.
      Thanks,

Great product though I don’t think the velcro will hold mud and hard cleaning.

    • Andrew says:

Paul, it’s been field tested pretty hard and has yet to work lose. That’s not to say that there is not SOME scenario where we could destroy it, but I wore it for a year long deployment in Afghanistan with no issues.
      Thanks,
      Andrew
