$99 is a small price to pay to keep small American businesses going. Hell you’ll pay $200 for some imported “highend” arcteryx pants made overseas. Good on kitanica for keeping manufacturing local.

    • Mike says:

Arcteryx does a good majority of their product development, design, and manufacturing in Canada. That’s hardly overseas. They do admit to doing some manufacturing in other countries, but if you are going to single out a company for out-sourcing manufacturing, it shouldn’t be Arcteryx.

On a side note – these pants may be the first Kitanica pants I would wear on a regular basis.

i dont buy it sorry. $600 “LEAF” jacket cut and sewn in china, no thanks. Designed for military? What grunt can afford that? LOL

Hell i’ll design a jacket, overhead only covers 3-4 bodies. I congratulate the sewing companies here in the states that refuse to go overseas even though the temptation is there. arcteryx gets too much credit (overpriced) whereas people bitch about $99 made in usa pants from an american company, Kitanica

I have the HW older version with all the pockets and they are excellent. Quality is top notch. Used them on many a SMEE and no issues.

  3. Erin says:

I agree with Mike. Its awesome that they are made in the US but most of their products up until now were over engineered. I think I would have lost my wallet in all that mess. But these pants look great, cant wait to try them out and support US manufacturer.

  4. James says:

Would be nice if bigger gentlemen could wear them…

  5. James says:

Carhatt has a made in the USA line… And it tough to beat there quality and durability.

dig the set up but 34″ inseam is a bit long, oh well
