Grey has become the new Black and much of this shift is due to the success of the Arc’teryx Urban Wolf Grey. Consumer demand has prompted Arc’teryx to expand Wolf to other products. They’ve really gone all in. There’s everything from Gore-tex jackets and pants to the Talos combat uniform to packs and even the popular Knee Caps.
In addition to Arc’teryx, several other companies have jumped on board offering Wolf Grey that is an exact match. Still others have been inspired by the move and have released Grey versions of their own. One way to ensure that you are purchasing gear that uses real Wolf Grey is to check out their partners page which lists which companies also offer the color. Currently, these include Blue Force Gear, Smith Optics and LBT Inc. Additionally, I know that Mayflower and Velocity Systems are in the process of introducing Wolf as an option. Also, rumor has it that at least one Kydex holster company is on board with Wolf.

This is awesome, glad people are realizing how versatile this color is.
Off The Grid’s Grey is a fine match for Arc’ Wolf. I have one of his holsters and the Arc’ Talos LT in Wolf.
It’s just a friggin’ Pantone, folks. Color match it with your iPhone and then focus on the real matter -making good stuff with it.
LOL. Pantone is that a shampoo? LOL, so true!
Do we really though want to completely wear the same colour? Or maybe slight variations creating some sort of depth.
Now we just need them to make a run of the BACs in it. My old coyote BAC is damn near dead – it has had it’s final wash; one more and it’ll just be a ball of thread in the washer.
I’d like to see the Alpha shell in this colour.
TAD gear has been offering UE Grey for years. I think Arc’teryx just tends to make a bigger splash with their new stuff because they have more of that “cool guy” brand name in the tactical community.
Want a cool courier bag in urban wolf!
I wish they’d bring back their now discontinued Combat Pants in this color. My Croc Combat Pants are due for retirement. 🙁
