I thought Patagonia came out with an Alpha jacket that they make for SOCOM over two years, so how is beyond the first and only
It comes down to how the alpha material is faced. Some companies are facing Alpha with Gortex or other not so permeable materials. Beyond appears to have a breathable outerlayer that they have combined with Alpha to optimize moisture transport.
As someone who has seen the different alpha jackets on the market (Eddie Bauer, Patagonia, etc), the beyond alpha is probably the most effective ‘alpha’ product on the market.
Beyond seems to be pushing the stick to change what is a super stagnate industry.. Same shiz every where. Lets see what they can do.
