It’s a take on the Ray Bradbury novel title “Something Wicked This Way Comes”. See why you might think the grammar is Yoda-like though, I can. Just to geek out, I think the Republic troops just wear white armor with various colors for highlights to designate which army group they are in. Not that I’ve paid attention to such things. No. Not me.
I just asked them 2 days ago via email if they would make any “woodland” camo patterns including Kryptek and Pencott and they said not likely. Will this be the military stuff or hunting given your comment?
I talked to someone at MR, and they said that the production of packs in Kryptek is being ‘strongly considered’ at this time. They didn’t know (or didn’t want to say) what patterns will be produced or what the timeframe is. Given the popularity of Kryptek Highlander clothing with the backpack hunting crowd, I’d say Highlander is a good bet IF they decide to go for it.
Curious on grammar of the title. With ATACs being familiar to a STAR WARS camo, is this a hint that Kryptec got THE REPUBLIC contract?

Vader’s Fist!
Bradbury borrowed from Shakespeare’s witches in Macbeth. “From the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes”
Good memory! I haven’t seen Macbeth since 1988 or so when Christopher Plummer played the title role.
I am stoked for this. My favorite camo family, and my favorite pack maker.
I’m glad the industry will continue to adopt different patterns, despite the Army’s default to Multicam.
Words well spoken! I agree completely
Wished Kryptec would have won. Bank account and wife will hate to see my kit getting changed once again!
Airsoft dorks rejoice!!
I guess you don’t hunt.
Since I was 6, sir 🙂
