When is that rifle bag going to be available and do you know the MSRP?

  2. Will says:

    MSRP for the beard?

  3. Mark says:

What kind of boots is he wearing?

    • Jack Schit says:

Man They look like Danners. I am considering a pair of Danner boots to replace the 12 yr old Vasque sundowners that have been the best pair of hiking boots I have ever owned (re-soled twice). The pair of Vasque that I have were from the days when the upper was still being made in Italy and they had Vibram soles. Its sad that now they are being made in Asia and the soles are no longer Vibram. Don’t get me wrong Vasque sundowners will always be classic, just not built as well as they used to be. Danner makes a boot that is similar looking to the Vasque sundowner and I bet that is what Costa is wearing. Danner boots on Amazon run in the $300.00 range last time I checked (some more, some less). If you find out exactly what boot he is definitely wearing then post a reply cause I would like to know what those are myself.

I’m sure you know that Costa was in the CG. I don’t care what you think of him personally but every time you disparage his service (with a comment like above) you insult an entire service of people who are just as patriotic as any of the members of any other branch. Get over yourself, man.

    • Erik says:

I really don’t think that is called for; one of my best deployments was with some guys from TACLET South; they definitely have their stuff together. I have nothing but respect for them, even if they are CG!

  5. Daniel says:

You could probably throw a kevlar panel, or a light plate, into that small day bag, and with your mags on the front, use it as an impromptu plate carrier/chest rig. It seems about the right shape.

  6. Fox says:

When companies like LBT and Chris Costa get together, Outstanding gear is produced, and sent to market quickly. HSGI Costa leg rig anyone? I know the leg rig idea came out long before Costa produced his, but in my opinion- he perfected it. These products look as though the design follows that pattern of development. I just hope there will be color options, as LBT has done many of the products they produce available in only one color, two if you are lucky. LBT-if you are reading this, options are key!

Modularity between vest pack and gun bag….mind officially blown!
