Got the 80GSM just in time for exercise, 7 days of Jumping T-11’s and hitting targets, needed something to keep the chill down during the TSE and extraction phase of each job, the jacket worked its arse off! folds up small, removable hood is a big win and the boys from USA in their patagonia were looking at me with freezing envy. temperature was sitting at 41*F most nights.
wouldnt mind a waterproof virsion, though
Looking forward to see if SORD will be given access to the new AMP for accessories and packs.
AMCU I mean.
Most likely they wont. DMO will guard the pattern closely to stop unapproved gear filtering through the system.
Where are they made , I see the fabric is Berry Compliant . Looks a good jacket.
Looks like a great MultiCam alternative to the Wild Things ‘Happy Suit’ jacket or the Beyond Clothing ‘High Loft’ jacket… @Neisty – for your ‘waterproof needs’, think your 80GSM Mountain And Cold Weather Operations Jacket would probably pair-up rather nicely with a MultiCam APECS gore-tex jacket.
SORD puts out some top notch items! I have a few of their “smocks” and they are fantastic. Pockets up the yingyang and lightweight. Great for cooler/windy days.
This looks like another winner that I will have to put on my wishlist.
