I recently started reading a new blog called Lawless Truth. It covers design and a few other things I find interesting. Running through the various pages I come across a rather interesting one-off item in the Warden’s Unicorn Sightings section; the “Conflict Capri”.
Made by Beyond, the Conflict Capri looks to be manufactured from softshell fabric. I did a little digging and it turns out they were made for a friend of mine who travels quite extensively. I have a funny feeling these are going to show up in photos of all kinds of cool places ala Flat Stanley.

I’ve seen something similiar that was made for a JM. But it was with some LV9 pants. Looks pretty comfortable and good for climbing.
How about “Knickers” instead as I fumble with me Sporn ” By Dand”…
That would be Sporran…
Is it me, or does multicam make everything look less gay?
Not so sure about that in THIS case…
No, still way gay. That is why Kitanica came out with a capri tactical pant first.
If it doesn’t have a gusseted crotch; it is wrong…
breathing room, please
Do you think they can make them in Kryptec??
I know guys wear capris and all but, as the discussion I had with the lead designer for Kuhl at OR, IMO mens wear should work one of two ways. Shorts that end above the knee and pants that end below the ankle. That middle zone is a slippery slope and the sole exception is a nicely outfitted kilt for St. Pats Day or if you happen to be Scottish.
I love Kuhl, more than most, probably; 10+ pairs of pants, 3 shirts and 5 fleece, but their shorts were a miss for me. Not design or material, those are just as good as the pants, but the cut and length were way off. Billowy legs and in capri territory. I hope he took your words to heart.
Beyond makes awesome kit as does Kuhl I take heat for what my friends refer to as my “Man-pris” all the time, but I love a longer short even if it ventures into that questionable capri area. Might see these in Lupus too…;)
first the hats then the manpris LOL
As someone who wears a Kuhl hat every day and pants nearly every day (up to 14 pair now) I would fistfight a hobo for a Lupus Kuhl Hat. Head armor that matches my Rydr pants; winning.
I actually work in several climates; jungles, woodland and desert. With that said I am pretty well known to cut my pants just below the knees (Capri Style) as for climbing, wet weather and hot humid days, I get ventilation as well. When tramping thru the wet jungles and mud, I find my pant bottoms always getting so wet, muddy and heavy to the point of stretching under the heel of my boot ( I dont like blousing). So for me, and not caring what others think of my manhood (Most in our profession dont), I can make these look good! Im all for it, sign me up and ill wear them to the threads wear off! Good Job Beyond!
