SureFire has just released a brand new budget-priced, military-grade flash hider for AR-15 variant weapons that they claim reduces muzzle flash by over 99%. The Eliminator is a three-prong design designed to fit AR-15s with 1/2×28 muzzle threads, and duplicates the key functional design elements of the SureFire SF3P-556-1/2-28 flash hider. Worth noting is, unlike the SF3P, the Eliminator isn’t compatible with SureFire SOCOM suppressors.
The Eliminator is precision machined from US mil-certified steel bar stock, with single-point cut threads for optimum thread interface, and treated with a black Melonite finish that protects it from harsh environmental conditions.

Thanks ssd I thought I had my mind made up on what flash hide to put on my spr and you post this
The website states that it has pilot holes for tuning the flash hider and for pin-and-weld to SBRs.
What is the tuning of the flash hider, and how is it accomplished?
Seems that the reason the original M-16 3 prong flash hider in Viet Nam was replaced with the current style is vegetation (vines)would get caught between the prongs. Back to the future.
