Recover Tactical has recently made available a variant of their popular BC2 Grip and Rail system for Beretta 92/96 Series pistols. Designed by famed Israeli weapons designer Tamir Porat, the BC2 grip is manufactured from high-grade, glass-reinforced polymer. It replaces the stock grip panels on most Beretta 92/96 model pistols in minutes, adding only roughly 2 ounces to the overall weight. The BC2 grip also adds an underside Picatinny rail to the pistol for the attachment of lights or lasers.
Available in Black, Camo, Desert Sand, and Olive Drab. The BC2 grip is also available for 1911 model pistols.

Here we go. Just waiting on the SIG 226/220/228 models to start happening!
Agreed. I’d like to try this out on the ancient P226 I was issued.
You know, that’s really not a bad idea and execution of it. Holster options would be limited but it breaths some life into the M9.
I’d like to think that the Safariland holsters made for the the M9 with the Surefire MR11 mount would also fit this. I just might have to try it for $50.
Cheaper then buying M9A1’s.
Good idea that the Army will refuse to adopt.
Maybe Army won’t adopt this, but I wouldn’t prevent my Soldiers from buying it and slapping it on their M9s
Please PLEASE ensure that they complete the circle with decent holsters, quality lights and training on those lights.
You strike me as the type who will make sure that happens–it’s as much a reminder to me as anyone…
I hope one for the CZ75 original comes out. Love that gun but would lover some rails without buying a po9
a lot better then most of the other ways I’ve seen to get a rail on an older gun. adds a little splash of color if thats your style as well.
Looks interesting- Even when considering that the sides of the some of the mag floor plates need a little extra room, I’d like to have seen a version with an enlarged magwell.
Wow, no comments about how ugly it looks, who needs a rail, if Beretta had wanted a rail, etc…?
SSD, the maturity of your comment section is still miles ahead of other blogs.
This was cool for the 1911, it’s cool for the M9/92.
WHO NEEDS A RAI…
JK. I have pistols with no rail that I wish had rails (see above SIG comment) but I also have a few pistols with rails that I put nothing on. Having the option is nice, regripping is nice, adding a splash of color is nice. This adds options, and I dare say it’s un-American to hate choice.

For the product: simple idea, effective design.
