HOT BACON ALERT!!! The massively popular Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Touch gloves from Patrol Incident Gear (PIG) are now available in a brand new color, Carbon Grey.

The PIG FDT Alpha Touch gloves were originally developed by a Rogers Shooting School advanced graduate and are currently worn by competition shooters, sport hunters and special forces units around the globe. Two years in the making, the gloves introduced many ground-breaking industry firsts including; a sensitized and isolated trigger finger with the thinnest Clarino material available, knuckle flex joints with ventilation points, a single layer multi-piece palm for added tactile dexterity and touch-screen compatible threading in the thumb and index fingertips.

PIG developed the Carbon Grey color choice specifically for the significant number of customers who require a monotone glove option for urban environments. The tonal shade of Carbon Grey was chosen based on its compatibility with other industry grey color options, like the Arc’teryx Urban Wolf. The PIG FDT Alpha Touch gloves are also available in their original color options; black, coyote and ranger green.

Grey group!? Are they still on business??

  2. Grey Group was listed as one of the retailers carrying the Carbon Grey glove, and that information was used in the article, however we have removed it as it seems that Grey Group is still closed.

  3. Adam says:

I checked TD for the Carbon Grey, and they don’t have that color as an option. I even looked on their new Arrivals page. Nada.

    • Garda says:

Just like Adam I just checked the TD site & the New Arrivals section. They only have black, coyote, & ranger green. No carbon grey listed.

  4. EzGoingKev says:

I went on SKD Tactical and they are not listing the color either?

  5. joe says:

Yeah, I emailed TD about it yesterday–be nice to get it AND the 20% off deal. So far no response.

I’m on the fence anyway since a Large should fit me, but it still is too tight in the web area between thumb and index finger–disallowing me from getting a tight grip on the gun in the web of my hand. I think going up to X-Large would make the fingers too long (sucks to have a big paw with stubby fingers)…but I may try them out since the Mechanix gloves already have the stitching coming out after 4 range sessions.

Is Grey Group going to reopen? I know that some of these issues can get a little sensitive, but it was the only store in Fayetteville with a good selection and half way reliable stock of kit. If it’s not reopening, do you have any other recommendations for stores in Fayetteville.

BTW, the gloves are awesome. I have them in coyote. Glad to see that they’re expanding the line.

    • JB says:

This. It’s seems like every time there is a legit kit store in Fayetteville, it ends up closing.

      • Haji says:

Until somebody new comes in to fill that niche again in the city, your best bet is OPTactical in Raleigh. They don’t have a walk in store yet AFAIK, but you can call ’em up and visit the warehouse.

I haven’t been in Feyetteville for a couple years, but last time I was there, GGT was the only shop carrying a variety of brands. Most everybody else offers their own line of kit.
