Apex, NC, December 30, 2014 – Arisaka LLC is pleased to announce the release of its new 300 Series Light Body.
The 300 Series Light Body is designed as a streamlined replacement for Surefire ScoutLight M300 bodies. It is manufactured without the mounting interface for the stock Picatinny clamp. This greatly increases the clearance for front sights when used in combination with the KeyMod and M-Lok Arisaka Inline Scout Mounts on handguards with 45 degree mounting surfaces adjacent to the top Picatinny rail, such as the BCM KMR, KAC URX4, and Geissele SMR MK8.
The 300 Series Light Body is compatible with all E1 series and Scout Light M300 series tailcaps and heads. It will also fit in any aftermarket Scout mount, as it retains the mounting holes and square lug interface on the underside of the light body.
It is also possible to build a complete light from scratch by sourcing a Surefire or aftermarket light head, and a tailcap or tape-switch.
The 300 Series Light Body is manufactured out of 6061 aluminum, type III hardcoat anodized, and made entirely in the USA.

I like it, especially as it gives you the option to customize the head/tail of the light without wasting money on a whole system to begin with. Very resonably priced as well.
Looking forward to grabbing a few of these, as well as the upcoming 45 degree adapter! Excited to slim down the Scouts I have.
Thank you, now take my money!
Any plans for the 600 series?
