Yeah I agree. Then again these look awesome and would be good for a deployment where the weather can change from hot to cold. I have a pair of zyphers that I have had for 4 years now and three deployments that are still running strong.
I hate that LOWA doesn’t have any AR 670-1 compliant boots. I wore LOWAs in Afghanistan and they were the best boots I’ve ever had.

+1. We called ours “Terrys” because if you could rock your Lowas, it was just you and them.
Try Haix. Another german boot brand. Another one of the three stars.

Maybe Lowa or Hanwag will make some compliant boots in the future.
But I don’t think so. They are the best, because they want to make good boots instead of compliant boots. 🙂
Am I missing something? (Like a link.) I was looking over the Lowa site to look at these, and I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Are they not up yet?
