TwinNeedle is an outdoor and tactical gear manufacturing company located in New Zealand. They’ve recently announced the addition of three new products to their tactical line:
Belt Skins are designed to work with any existing riggers belt. They consist of a Cordura sleeve with Velcro Loop back, quad folded Cordura PALS rows, and an optional airmesh pad. The intended use is for a lightly loaded pistol belt. Available in Med – 8 columns, Large – 11 columns, and X-Large – 14 columns. Available colorways: A-TACS, Coyote Brown, Kryptek, and MultiCam.
Putties are a shorter, lighter variant of the gaiter. They’re made of 500D Cordura. The design offers increased mobility over a full gaiter, yet still mitigates debris from entering the top of the boot. Available colorways: A-TACS, Coyote Brown, Kryptek, and MultiCam.
PTT Offsets are an accessory which offsets a PTT on a plate carrier, which frees up space on the carrier and doesn’t impede magazine changes. Available colorways: Black, Coyote Brown, and MultiCam.
US customers will soon be able to purchase these products at www.optactical.com

For those of you who want to attach MOLLE/PALS pouches to your current rigger belt (or any 1.75-inch belt), the belt skin is a great option that will work with a variety of MOLLE attachments/straps. It’ll also give you velcro loop on the inner face for adding a slim mesh pad or using an inner velcro hook belt.
Jon, any ETA on when these (specifically the Putties) will be in-stock and on the website?
This is the inventory manager – email us at optactical@yahoo.com I may be able to hook you up now. Regular stock probably towards the end of the month.
The Belt skins sounds stupid-smart. I wish I didn’t have a few belt set-ups just for the simple fact of needing to change color schemes. I wish I could go to the website on my GOV computer!!
I just hooked it up on my pistol belt and love it. Lots of range testing of this system coming this year.

Jon,
Are you using a belt that is wider than 1.75 inches?
Thanks.
First Spear AGB, 1.75 inch. Threading it is not easy, I recommend a cord to pull it through or you’ll be working for a while.
Jon, OPT
Totally stealing that MOLLE-T deal for my PTT clip.
Spats are Back!
Mac makes some awesome gear. I have a couple pieces from him and they are top notch.
