    These are great for sniper use (relatively low volume shooting) but I talked with the guys at SureFire and they warned about putting a cover on a carbine can. They state that the insulation can cause higher temps that will eventually damage the suppressor.

    Seeing as how hot mine gets in shooting one mag, I tend to believe what they are saying.

    NOTE that I am talking about putting one on there for training/general shooting use. I fully understand the benefits of having a cover on in operational use to prevent burning people/vehicles/etc.

    I’ve seen the armageddon cover over a thunderbeast supressor. You could remove it easily to allow cooling, and save the supressor. Good piece of kit.

    You gotta watch their other video with the grannies shooting…
