The Luci EMRG is an inflatable solar powered lantern which functions as an all-in-one lantern, flashlight, and emergency light.
It features 4 LED lights, and is capable of four settings: bright, super bright, flashing, and S.O.S.
The bottom panel of the Luci features a carry handle, and solar panel, which fully charges from empty in 8 hours of direct sunlight. The Luci is capable of 7 hours of continuous use on bright setting, and retains 95% of its charge per month when not in use/stored.
Additionally, due to its waterproof housing and lightweight construction, the Luci EMRG is also completely buoyant in water.

These lanterns are so wonderfully designed and a pleasure to use. They have gone all over the world with me in my ruck and I outfitted every one of the kids in my Scout troop as well. Great piece of equipment and very light. I’m sure this product will be on par with the rest.
Kids have beat them up on our car camping trips and ours have lasted about three years at this point and still running strong. Great little pieces of kit.
Nepal could use a few thousand of these about right now.
one of the best peices of gear i got. Water resistant, durable, light, bright, and solid battery life. Awesome for long rucks in shitty conditions
I have to say that I was a bit incredulous when I first saw these, but after keeping one in my pack for the last three months it’s become a treasured piece of gear. Low cost is a huge plus. I have one in my hurricane kit as well. Its more than bright enough to read a book by, which is my ultimate acid test.
Must be that time of year for lantern reviews. Overland Journal just posted one on another type. Good to see. http://expeditionportal.com/field-tested-luminaid-led-lantern/
This model just came out. We’ve been using this brand for years.
