Anyone else bummed that Memorial day has turned into a sales extravaganza? Not knocking on TAG BTW
Yes, though I did not serve both my father and grandfather did, both in the Navy. If I have to choose between kick ass sales from folks that support our armed forces and another excuse to drink and BBQ, I’ll take spending money with good American companies. I DO NOT shop on Memorial Day, not sure if that makes a difference but I won’t shop or party. It’s not respectful in my opinion.
I am hoping to have some friends who served over to hang out and relax, tell stories and remember our amazing friends and family who are no longer with us.
