    Cool man, hope he took the same amount of time taking pics of the patch as he did respecting the dead, got comrades buried there.

      Unlikely. Have you ever visited and thought “oh, I can get a quick advertisement pic”? Last thing on my mind.

      I hope he did too but to get there, he would have had quite a walk through the cemetery to get to the memorial.

      I appreciate the fact that he sent this photo to share with his fellow SSD readers who now know that there’s a Desert One memorial.

      I’m curious, Marine or Air Force friends who passed away during Eagke Claw?
