You Never Know Where They’ll Show Up

Wadi Rum

This time, the KCRF patch has made its way to Wadi Rum! For those interested in a bit of history, Wadi Rum is famous as the place where King Faisal and T.E. Lawrence united the Arab Bedouin tribes and waged a textbook guerrilla war on the Turkish army, then pushed north to Damascus as the British right flank. It’s also where David Lean’s classic “Lawrence of Arabia” was filmed.

Major thanks to ‘DK’ for the pic and info!

Keep ’em coming!

One of the coolest experiences in my life was taking a hot air balloon ride at dawn from the middle of the desert and flying over the Wadi Rum. Incredible history and scenery.
