TRX_RA, Vella_0131

Milpitas CA, October 7, 2015, Vella Industries announces the release of the Trident Rail System an innovative full length rail system that features M-LOK, Keymod and Picatinny systems on one rail.

Manufactured in the California, the Vella Trident Rail System is constructed of lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum with a steel barrel nut. The Vella Trident System is shipped with all appropriate hardware for installation including the Barrel Nut, Mounting Screws and Shims for proper spacing.

“The Vella Trident Rail System is great because it allows me to use the accessories I’ve bought for other rifles with my Vella Titan Rifle.” says Willam G. a shooter from San Jose, CA. “I can finally use all of my goodies that I’ve bought in the past!”

Available in 10.5”, 15”, 16.5” and 18.5” with a slim inner diameter of 1.35” the Vella Trident Rail System features a variety of modern negative mount and traditional picatinny mounting options. The key to the Trident System is its innovative yet elegantly designed style of having all 3 major mounts integrated on a single rail. The Keymod mounting points sit at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, the Magpul M-Lok sits at 12 o’clock and the Picatinny rail sits at the tip of the rail. All rails feature anti rotation QD holes at the rear and installation instructions for ease of installation.

    Early April fools?

I can see their thinking behind this design but it’s not really necessary since, if I’m not mistaken, you can buy Picatinny rails that can attach to M-Lok and Keymod to allow you to use older accessories.

Everyone is trying to get their slice of pie with rails… Looks overly complicated.

Best thing ever for 3 gunners.

just got my 16.5″ rail in the mail, and it’s great! Not only is it light, I don’t have to buy extra M-Lok rails to mount my iron sights. For those that think this is overly complicated must not be overly smart, this design seems to have lightness as the main goal -especially for those that have or have had quad rails-, by removing all the rails except for the necessary sections for optics, bi-pod, etc. and if other accessories are needed the keymod rail sections are available for attachment of either rail sections or direct attachment of keymod compatible accessories.

Overall great product!! Definitely one of the lightest, if not the lightest, rail on the market right now!

I actually bought one and love it. Comfortable on the hands and very lightweight. I also have rifles with noveske, slr, daniel defense, etc and this one is up there. This vella rail has only seen 2 range days but its a keeper. Its funny how people can judge without even owning it.

Manticore Arms just release a new rail that is pretty forward thinking, very modular.
