Anyone know whats between the rear MBUS and the T1?
It is a twist mount base for an Aimpoint magnifier, it also works with TNVC’s TM-14 ring for a PVS14 behind the Aimpoint.
My guess is a qd mount for a removable magnifier.
Aim point twist mount magnifier. That is the base, there is a ring and the magnifier goes in the ring and it can twist and release.
We also modeled our TNVC TM-14 (Twist Mount Adapter) for the PVS-14 using the Aim Point twist base for anyone needing to take a passive shot. Total transition time head to weapon well under 7 seconds and vice/versa.
Great news. I trained with Don at Glynco, and
Can attest that he’s a consummate professional. Our relationship with
TNVC and with Don goes back almost 10 years
so it’s great to see him back again. We look forward
to more fruitful collaboration in the future.
Thank you Chris.
