Cummerbund adapter with Flap

The new cummerbund adapter with flap allows the user to mount additional accessory pouches to the front and rear of the cummerbund by utilizing the integrated MOLLE/PALS system. Attached to the front of the PlateFrame, the cummerbund adapter was designed for reinforced strength and modularity.

Cummerbund adapter with Flap and Radio pouch

The cummerbund adapter with flap and radio pouch, allows the user to secure a handheld radio to either side of the PlateFrame while providing an attachment point for a MOLLE/PALS compatible component or pouch to be attached to the front side of the pouch. The integrated pouch design secures the radio along the inside of the adapter closer to the front plate for enhanced comfort.

Dump Pouch

The S&S dump pouch consists of non-hydroscopic material and mesh that was designed to be self-draining, easily allowing water and debris to escape from the pouch with no user interaction. The pouch will not absorb water; eliminating unwanted weight gain. The pouch was designed to hold up to seven standard 30 round 5.56 magazines. A one handed bungee retention system allows for easy access when desired and quickly secures the pouches contents when pulled tight. When not in use, the dump pouch rolls up into a tight/low profile package. The pouch is belt and MOLLE/PALS compatible.

I’m not usually one to comment on prices, but am I reading that right? $127 for a dump pouch? Is that a misprint or does it do something exceptional?

  2. Paul says:

I bet these are made for somebody specific and this price is to keep civvies from purchasing, but still “available”.

    • TCBA_Joe says:

Plenty of companies make custom gear for specific SOF units that is never released.

    • Contractor says:

Frankly I’m fine with that. I get really tired of trying to pick up some last minute gear only to find out it’s all sold out.

I’ve learned my lesson though. Calling into the company is much better. They will usually run a couple extra miles to help the professional end user out.

  3. David says:

Prices aside, I love everything about the plateframe. Each new idea always is a massive improvement to the system. I can’t justify personally owning one, but it’s great seeing the guys who need them are getting a better system with every new item released

  4. Jon, OPT says:

Good to see this system catching on and expanding in a logical direction. Due to lack of sales we had to cut a number of their items, as much as I love them our customers didn’t, I strongly believe these upgrades and evolutionary steps along with endorsed use by legitimate agencies will drive people back to the brand that S&S is building. Can’t wait to see what the new year has in store.

    • Jon,

I hope in the future you re-expand your S&S line.

Definitely grab that dump pouch! I can’t believe I’m saying it, but I’m actually thinking about cheating on my CSM dump pouch with it.

I agree with Jon, I like some of the new stuff these guys are turning out. I really like the idea of their Holster Extender GRT. What I don’t like is their restocking times…. 14 weeks and counting………………… come on, and please stop telling me 2 weeks every 2 weeks, its getting a bit ridiculous…..

    • I picked up the GRT holster extender about a month ago. It took some effort to get a hold of but being a professional end user helped.

It’s a wonderful solution if you find yourself transitioning from different situations and still need to maintain control of a handgun.

It’s worth the money if you have a need for it.
