That’s a pretty nice looking glove, I like how they don’t have Mechanix printed all over it like some of their other ones. Except for the fact that I don’t need a pair of tactical or shooting gloves I wouldn’t mind getting a pair if they weren’t too expensive, I suppose that I could justify buying a pair if I could come up with a Halloween costume concept that involves gloves like these.
It does have ‘Mechanix’ printed all over the gloves.
I have the half finger version. They don’t stand up to abuse for too long. They’re a yearly purchase item.
I can see the Mechanix but judging by the picture they don’t stand out as much as on their other gloves.
As for durability, I wouldn’t be putting them through much abuse, either just wearing them to the range or wearing them as part of a costume. So, not much abuse which means they’d probably last me about as long as a sturdier glove would in abusive conditions.
Dead Bird……the ultimate trend setter!!
Looks bit darker to be grey. Feels almost like black.
I agree, it does seem to be a bit dark for grey, it doesn’t look much lighter in color than the AR. I’d actually argue that it’s a bit darker than the parts of the AR being hit by the light but still not as dark as the mag.
It’s actually way lighter than in that photo. That was just from a photoshoot where there was “mood” lighting. 🙂
I suspect the AR actually is grey; look at the contrast between the receivers/rail and the small parts, such as the magazine release, forward assist, selector switch, etc.
I concur
Please be the fastfit version. Velcro on gloves sucks. They all wear out and just flop around. The fastfit type are the way to go.
I wish they’d incorporate the Vent model into their line of “tactical” offerings.
I have a pair in gray (of which the markings aren’t as obnoxious and the color is very close to wolf) and they rival the PIG gloves in terms of dexterity at half the price. With the SWMS/camelbak version being out of production, they’re one of the best offerings out there and Mechanix isn’t taking advantage of it.
Do you mean these? http://www.lapolicegear.com/mx-mgv-55-covert.html
They don’t have Coyote though… Yet.
