Rated to 26kn pull strength, the 50:50 carabiner is made from a steel alloy.  Its autolocking design allows for the ambidextrous one-handed opening of one section at a time.   It can be used for a wide variety of applications.  For example, as a belay carabiner in combination with a belay device, as personal anchor system, or for glacier tracks.
