For a split-second I couldn’t tell whether or not this was on Status Report or The Armored Patrol among my tabs, with the Ha-Go so prominently featured.
Yep its the War Museum in Waikiki, by the Hale Koa Military resort, Oahu, Hi. I played in that tank and the half track and Sherman tank next to it. They all used to have most of the inards in them, seats, driver stick, knobs, dials and all. You cold sit in the gunners seat and sight through the slits. But that was in the 70’s through about 85′. Years of suvenier collection and vandalism took its toll. Much like the rest of Hawaii. Now there sealed up and little care is given to the stories they could still tell. I sigh every time I see those childhood friends.

Waikiki my home 20.
I was gonna say that looks like the tank in front of the WW2 museum on Waikiki.
Don’t know much about tanks; what is that little thing?

The tank that made Sherman tankers in the Pacific glad that they weren’t in the ETO facing late model PzKpfw IVs, Panthers, and Tigers.
