    Mt. Rushmore is a typical destination in the area, and of course a must see. Devils Tower and Jewel Cave are so close to Mt. Rushmore and are also a MUST. I first climbed the Tower in 1979. If you are new to climbing or want to learn this is the perfect spot. Then move on to the Needles. I climbed it and the Needles for years with Herb and Jan Khan. Some of you old guys will recognize the Khan name. For years they taught the “special” groups. Jan still makes it to Jewel Cave on occasion. She and Herb are really the two most responsible for mapping and exploring Jewel Cave the 3rd largest in the world.

    I hope I don’t sound like an idiot…but where do you get the patch??? I visit strange and exotic places on accasion and would like to”spread the word”

      Yep, exactly what I was asking myself over and over again. Working together with the european space agency, I’ve got some nice ideas for fancy pics.

      Any hinds on where to purchase the patch will be appreciated.
