The Next Generation Aiming Laser is starting to show up in preproduction form, with full production beginning this fall. Aside from the size (3.6″x 2″X 1.25″), another cool feature is that it uses one CR-123A or AA battery. You’ll also be able to switch directly from visible to IR laser with the click of a button on the remote switch.

Great to see them finally showing this.
And now, the million dollar question:
Can the user easily see their front sight post if this is top rail mounted?
The spec says 1.25″ H. Standard M4 FSP is over that.
Supposedly you can see it with PEQ15, but that’s a pretty unclear sight picture, hence the question. The PEQ doesn’t block it either, but it makes it really hard to see.
I suppose it is already imperfect, if one is down to using the FSP. My experience with PEQ-15, which is wider, in conjunction with FSP, is that the difference is negligible compared to without.
* my non theater non combat experience that is *
Ive been hearing about these for a while, nice to see one.
Any plans for a civi model yet?
They’re going to have to do better than that to compete with BE Meyers.
Bingo.
