Neat. The old Opinel designs are really great and under rated in my opinion. I love how un-“tactical” they are.
To me these are not the most attractive blades but they sure are workhorses!
Bought one in France because it had a blade and a cork screw; and I really needed the corkscrew. You know, because France . . .
Don’t ever go to France without a corkscrew. ?
I bought my first Opinel in the early-90s. It was the featured selection to the outdoor book club to which I once belonged even though it was not a book. Admittedly, I was skeptical about it and almost passed on it. However, once I held it in my hand, I was sold on it! It holds an edge that knives costing far more cannot.
