Tactical Chuck Taylors?
They helped Benny pickle the Beast.
Even when Benny brought out the secret weapon. Shoes guaranteed to make a kid run faster and jump higher . . . PF Flyers.
Hero’s get remembered but legend’s never die.
If they were in 8″ they’d be great for wearing with Rhodesian brushstroke.
Most Rhodies cut down their black clandestine takkies. Chuck Taylors or these are a shoe-in for the role. (I’ll stop, for now.).
I’m a sucker for minimalist footwear- Palladium, Converse, Portuguese bush shoes. If I can find these cheaper, I might go for it.
These look to be sized like Palladiums, i.e. not wide. Minimalist boots in wide sizes is hard to find. Best thing going for wide boots I have found, is the Boulder Boots by Lems. Did a review of them here: https://kitbadger.com/lems-boulder-boots/
Still no 14’s 🙁
Size 14-shows up for me on their site.
Maybe it was just the black color, I’ll go check the others all I saw was 13.5
$130.00 What, What, what????
Where do you buy your footwear? The tactical aisle at Walmart?
Ooooh sick burn
I’ve paid allot less for more!
But then again, I forgot about the premium pigskin liner…
Guaranteed to keep the terrorists at bay.
$130 isn’t that bad for boots man. Do you mostly wear flip flops or something?
I own a pair of green on green (OD) PF Flyers. Unfortunately they run very small compared to converse. AND I couldn’t find the OD and black ones….may have to get a new pair.
PF Flyers- make you run faster and jump higher.
These are perfect for the hipsters that want to get messed up feet and broken ankles
Like Chucks they are utter crap for anything but to look “cool” in
I’ve weight lifted in chucks and use them when riding the harley- just cus they are over the ankle and flat bottomed. But other than that- walking the zoo with the kids in em sucks horribly at the end of the day.
Those that think hiking boots or the like are going to prevent ankle injury are morons. Careful foot placement and less fatigue via lightweight footwear both help prevent a twisted ankle, and shoes like these that offer little support strengthen one’s foot muscles much more than most boots. I wear my Chucks or Palladiums when hiking in the desert with no problems. The breathability is nice, too.
I had a great pair of these kicks in the 70’s! Definitely ran faster and jumped higher…far from crap at twice the price.
