Pray For Tom

Some of you may know Tom Greer personally, but many will know him from his nom de plum, Dalton Fury.

Tom Greer has done a lot to make our lives better.

He protected us, spending his youth in the Army, tackling some of the most challenging assignments available. Then, he informed us, telling the story of the hunt for Bin Ladin when no one else would. Later still, he entertained us, authoring a popular series of novels featuring a former special operator.

Now is our chance to give back.

You see, Tom has been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and unfortunately, there’s really not a lot to say about that.

However, Tom’s family has created a Facebook page for him, as he deals with his illness. Please go and like it and do whatever it is you do, whether it’s praying or sending out positive vibes, think about Tom Greer.  Please let him know how much you appreciate everything he’s done for us.

Lord, this man Tom Greer I have never met but you know him Lord and his struggle now. I agree in prayer with many reading this that You would bring Tom a healing Lord in Christ. That Your Spirit Lord will comfort him and his family, we pray for the doctors and caretakers that will be in charge of him, bless their hands, minds and hearts in his care. Forgive us also Lord for our anger and confusion in these times, give us understanding. Your will be done, in Christ Jesus name we pray, Amen.

I have had the pleasure of working with Tom and can truly say that this man is a once in a lifetime kinda guy. Although this is the extent of my social media presence, I could only hope that Tom and his family feel the love, respect and admiration of the many lives he has touched and the many warriors he has mentored in a life of service. I am grateful to have been in your presence and my prayers are with you and your family. You are a hard man. I’m sure you will make it hard for this shit to get you down. Besides’s, Kip’s slinging your pack for this hump!

I’m so sorry to hear about this late. CPT Greer was my Company Commander and was an outstanding leader, trainer and mentor. He was the kind of leader every Soldier needs.
