Red Beach, Guadalcanal. My grandfather served on Guadalcanal. It was some of the roughest fighting in the war in the Pacific. He would never talk about it.

    My granddad drove a landing craft at Guadalcanal. All he ever told us about it was that his landing boat got hit with a mortar round. It sank, had several casualties. He was plucked out of the water, cleared by medical and assigned to another landing craft..

    An entire Island that should be considered hallowed ground. This one really sets the bar for KCRF to a new level.
