I always enjoy the new innovations from the design team at NEMO, this OR it’s Tent Stakes.
It’s really more of a system, consisting of Airpin Ultralight Stakes, Javelin Tent Stakes, and Meldr Hammer.
The Airpin is made from 7075 Aluminum and integrates a three-point locking system for cords which eliminates the need for knots, cord locks or tensioners.
The Javelin on the other hand, is made from stainless steel and features a T cross section for strength. The Javelin also incorporates a cleat locking system for cordage. The Meldr is 1 lbs 9 oz of stainless steel and hickory, with a bottle opener at the toe.

Is the single plane geometry of the ultralight stakes really going to hold up to rocky ground? I’ve bent even the triple bladed MSR stakes on rocks while driving them.
Is this soldier-proof, so that it can’t be broken by Joe Tentpeg?
You know he can break anything.
Why the angled head on the hammer? Doesn’t that make 50% of the surface unusable? Am I missing something?
